I went shopping. I got every correct (or not) selection basketed. However, I didn’t execute all of this nor am I the principle cook.

Beef bourguignon
Green bean with potato
Simple salad

‘Roast’ is:
Celery (one pound/454g) trimmed
Carrots broken (8 oz/227g)
2 4oz packages fresh shiitake mushrooms (227g)
1.5L table burgundy wine (minus 8 oz. and you know why/who then that bottle of it as water
3 Tblspns (grape seed) oil
1/2 stick butter
3/4 lbs pack beef back ribs
2.5 lbs eye round beef roast
1/2 Head fresh garlic add in stages
1 large yellow onion
1/4 cup silver swan soy sauce

Brown off meat in oil, adjust heat down add garlic/onion then toss in veg all in stages add meat and liquid boil remove ribs bake them off separately as snack

Add butter to broth/pot liquor to make quick save for meat
– takes til tender (3.5 hours)

Heirloom tomatoes and good olives help make a nice salad
